Connecting the dots to our demise.
February 7, 2014 - PotrBlog saw the mass migration coming across our borders.
"...it could be that ICE is expecting some major destabilization (ala Syria) in Mexico and a potential mass attempt of migration across the border; hmmm refuge camps in Texas. ICE has a explicit order out for sources that can support - Planning, Briefing, and Reporting Anlaysis for Emergency Response and Mass Migration Support"
Not Syria as it turns out, but children.
Not so long ago I bought the line that many of the illegals coming across our borders were very often escorted by coyotes. There are plenty of substantiating videos available and I still do not question it. Now, there are thousands upon thousands of unaccompanied minors coming thru Mexico from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Many of these children are supposedly brought in by coyotes. 17 year old Daniel Zavala paid $7,000.00 to get here. It is inconceivable that this is the norm. It is just as inconceivable that the coyotes are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
Skip forward to Thursday June 12. The Senate wasted no time in resolving the problem. Not by following the law and closing the borders, but by plunging us into further debt.
Senate Appropriators Want $1B for Unaccompanied Illegal Immigrant Children
WASHINGTON - Senate appropriators are moving toward a $1.03 billion spending increase to address the healthcare and shelter needs of thousands of unaccompanied alien children streaming across the nation's southern border.
riations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education approved a spending plan this week that includes an attempt to tackle what lawmakers described as "an emergency situation by any definition."
In a post Saturday at Grumpy Opinions - Yesterday evening I sent an email to Bob Trent the Secretary/Treasurer of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers. During the course of the evening we traded several emails. He shared enough of his thoughts and expertise that I'm going to put most of it into a separate article that I'll publish on Sunday, but for now:
The NAFBPO, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and the membership consists of many former supervisors and chief patrol agents. We have a collective knowledge that spans a great deal of time. We only exist to try our very best to educate the American public, the press, media, and our elected officials on matters regarding immigration law enforcement, border/national security and public safety. All of these are linked and we can't survive as a sovereign nation unless we continue to protect our right to our sovereignty as a nation.
point to this sudden influx of illegal aliens, especially children, and from Central America. Check the press and media reports that started reporting on this in the past few weeks. I have worked the border as a uniformed patrol agent and I can tell you that the current situation is unprecedented. There simply is no way that this very large number of Central Americans, including children, could transit Mexico without massive assistance. I know Mexico quite well and it is a very rugged country, the large cities are crime ridden, cartels are everywhere. These people aren't simply sneaking through Mexico. This is a concerted, well organized operation, with transportation resources beyond the normal.
Sunday's post - Former Border Patrol Officer: Illegal Children had massive assistance getting here.
Border agent laments gang members entering U.S.: 'Why are we letting him in here?'
Border Patrol officials are swamped by the number of minors crossing illegally into the United States and frustrated that they can't turn away known Mexican gang members.
Border Patrol Agents In Texas Warned Not To Talk To Media
An assistant chief patrol agent, Eligio "Lee" Pena, warned more than 3,000 Border Patrol agents that journalists looking for information about what Obama has described as a humanitarian crisis are likely to ask for information and "may try to disguise themselves." The email, obtained by The Associated Press, said agents should not speak to reporters, on or off duty, without advanced permission and warned that anyone who does could be charged with a crime or disciplined administratively.
Border agents warn of 'chicken pox, MRSA staph' from illegal child crossings
Border patrol agents who have already experienced scabies infestations from illegal border crossers now fear the thousands of children who are sweeping into the United States are bringing a host of new diseases and ailments -- of even more serious nature.
to see chicken pox, MRSA staph infections; we are starting to see different viruses," said Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol agent Chris Cabrera said, ABC 15 reported.
One additional link from Mail OnLine - there are many photos there you may not have seen. Four hundred child immigrants now entering the U.S. every day as authorities liken growing humanitarian crisis in makeshift centers to aftermath of Katrina.
I completely concur that this is an "emergency" situation - one of our government's making. Where they found the monies to pull this thing off is a question that normally would be asked of the House but I see no one putting their feet to the fire. I guess with his pin Hussein Obama signed several blank checks.
And the question must be asked - how long until America is brought to her knees due to a medical emergency from something brought in by these children?
