Women and supporters attacked by regime men

Several female protesters have been beaten and injured in brutal attacks made by groups of Islamic regime's plainclothes men.
These attacks are taking place as more females are taking off their mandatory veils or are shouting slogans against the regime or moving toward the Laleh Park located in the Fatemi avenue.
Clashes are taking place in front of Tehran University and in the Enghelab, Laleh and Ferdowsi squares as male protesters defend their mothers, sisters, wives or friends against the regime agents.
Slogans, such as, "Na Roosari, Na Toossari" (No Veil, No Submission), "Marg bar Estebdad" (Down with Dictatorship), "Faryad e har Irani, Azadi, Azadi" (Freedom, Freedom, Slogan of each Iranian), "Toop, Tank Bassiji, Digar Assar Nadarad" (Gun, Tank, Bassij -paramilitaries- have no more effect), "Tahrim e Entekhbat vazife ye har Irani" (Boycott of Elections by any Iranian) are shouted by protesters.
Several foreign reporters, such as those off, BBC and AFP have been arrested by plainclothes men as they were filming the demo and the clashes.
A coalition of Iranian groups and individuals had announced a gathering in order to protest against the persistent violation of women rights and the official systematic Gender Apartheid Policy in Iran.
Women, who are the majority in Iran are considered as half of a man based on Islamic texts. many positions or study fields are forbidden to them while men can control their lives.
Young girls of under 14 years of age can be forced to marry with anyone.
Iranian women have at various occasions taken off their mandatory veils or set them on fire in sign of protest while shouting "Na Roossari, Na Toossari" (No Veil, No Submission). Many of them have been beaten up, arrested or heavily fined in retaliation.
Some have been killed with knives or clubs or other injured with acid thrown to their faces.
