Al-Zawahri: "War Is For Sake of God And Will Last Until Islam Prevails'
What part of "'It is a jihad for the sake of God and will last until (our) religion prevails...from Spain to Iraq,' ... 'We will attack everywhere'" is so hard for Western politicians to understand?What amazes me is the great number of Americans on the Left that fail to realize they are in a war for the survival of their civilization and way of life. America is in a war with a large and growing number of Muslims that follow what many call "radical Islam."
Not all Muslims follow the tenets of radical Islam, and these Muslims are under as great or greater threat from the Islamists, as are non-Muslims. This is not a war about territory, that's just an excuse , it's a war for the control of the world by an Islamic calphate, it is against all who do not share the theopolitical ideology of the Islamists. They keep telling us this, over and over, but Western leaders both fail to hear the message and mistakenly believe that they can negotiate with Islamists.
But you can't negotiate with Islamists, for them negotiation is merely a tactic, it is al-Taqiyya, deception until they regain a position of superiority over their enemy. The West is on the verge or reaching the point of no return, a world war is already upon them, and their failure to militarily act on Syria and Iran now, before Iran has nuclear capability, is going embroil the entire world in what can only be described as one that will end only when the entire planet is left in rubble. Look at Lebanon, that's where all of the world is headed unless the Islamists are stopped. We need only listen to the words of Islamist leaders like Ayman al-Zawahri, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, and Iran's president Ahmadinejad to know what their goals are. While the threats and demands of Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad are well known, today we have words from Ayman al-Zawahri that once again spell it out for us very clearly (excerpts):
Al Qaida's number-two leader today warned that the terrorist group would not stand idly by while "these (Israeli) shells burn our brothers" in Lebanon and Gaza.America, you are already in the war, the only question is whether or not you engage it properly in time to survive.In a taped message broadcast by al-Jazeera television, Ayman al-Zawahri, second in command to Osama bin Laden, said al-Qaida now saw "all the world as a battlefield open in front of us".
The Egyptian-born physician said the Hezbollah and Palestinian fighting against Israel would not be ended with "ceasefires or agreements".
"The war with Israel does not depend on ceasefires...It is a jihad for the sake of God and will last until (our) religion prevails...from Spain to Iraq," al-Zawahri said. "We will attack everywhere."
Al-Zawahri wore a grey robe and white turban. A picture of the burning World Trade Center was on the wall behind him along with photos of two other militants. One appeared to be a bearded Mohammed Atta, the Egyptian ringleader of the September 11 attacks.
"The shells and rockets ripping apart Muslim bodies in Gaza and Lebanon are not only Israeli (weapons), but are supplied by all the countries of the crusader coalition. Therefore, every participant in the crime will pay the price," al-Zawahri said..
Update: The SITE Institute also reports on a Taliban message of support for Hezbollah, urging Muslims to unite against "Zionist and the American oppressions," or "then the Muslim nations will deeply sink into the hole of slavery." (Hat tip - Counterterrorism Blog)
