Staged Reuters Photo Incites Muslims to Jihad
Just a dishonest Middle Eastern journalist or a case of al-Taqiyya: Al-Taqiyya -
According to Al-Taqiyah, Muslims were granted the Shar'iyee right (legitimacy) to infiltrate the Dar el-Harb (war zone), infiltrate the enemy's cities and forums and plant the seeds of discord and sedition. These agents were acting on behalf of the Muslim authority at war, and therefore were not considered as lying against or denouncing the tenants of Islam. The image below is one of several staged Reuters photos exposed by bloggers - and as Java Report points out, this one has much more distubing implications. In the photo, a Koran is being burned which implies that, unless it sponaneously combusted hours after the fire had otherwise died down, was likely purposefully staged to incite Muslim rage against the U.S. and the UN (after all, the caption seems to blame this supposed "act of desecration" on inaction by the U.S. and U.N. The photo was taken by the now infamous (for phoney photos) - Adnan Hajj.

The full caption of the photo is more telling of its intent: "A copy of the Koran burns in Southern Beirut after the Hizbollah stronghold was targeted by Israeli airstrikes July 16, 2006. Israeli air raids shook Beirut on Sunday, the fifth day of a devastating assault on Hizbollah and Lebanon that has prompted no UN Security Council action and only a mild plea for restraint from Israel's U.S. ally. " In the mind of Reuters and its make-up artist, Adnan Hajj, the obviously staged photo wasn't enough to provide the incitement sought, so the buning of the Koran, which is only important to Muslims, was subsidized with incendiary accusations.
Adnan Hajj clearly staged the photo, and it's clearly meant to incite Muslims. I know, terrorists and their supporters playing the R-card, so what else is new?
What's new is that the Western world is fastly learning that there are some Middle Eastern journalists that have no problem making up images and stories to further jihad, journalists that support the Islamists and who are accepted by Western media as providing unbiased reporting. The truth is, journalists like Adnan Hajj are not only dishonest, many could in fact be practicing al-Taqiyya.
