On The Circular Reasoning Of Some Muslim Leaders
The attitudes of many Muslim leaders never ceases to amaze me, particularly their circular logic - a fallacy occurring in deductive reasoning, which seems to be the only way they know how to think. Take for example the case of Australia's Prime Minister John Howard saying "We shouldn't pussyfoot around. No decent, genuine Muslim would support terrorism," and that "an acceptance by Muslims of the right of Israel to exist and the establishment of a Palestinian state would remove one of the arguments used to justify terrorism."
Only to have Muslim leaders respond by saying Howard's comments "fuelled intolerance," and "warned attacks on Muslims had happened in recent weeks after the prime minister called for immigrants to do more to integrate into Australian society."
What in the hell is wrong with these people? Asking Muslims to condemn terrorism fuels terrorism? Saying that no decent, genuine Muslim would support terrorism is being intolerant? Suggesting that by accepting Israel's right to exist Muslims would dispel the perception of non-Muslims and truly moderate Muslims that Muslims in general support terror - is fueling intolerance? It's not like Howard is asking them for the moon, they're being asked to be reasonable, peaceful, tolerant, human beings - and stop hating everyone but themselves. That's fueling intolerance?
The fact that the Muslim leaders are themselves being intolerant by denying Israel's right to exist, and that they in fact are fueling anti-Muslim sentiments by failing to condemn terrorism appears to totally escape them! Asking them to do more to integrate into Australian society as every other immigrant has done and is asked to do is "fueling intolerance"? Are these people nuts?
Did they immigrate to Australia to change Australia or did they immigrate to Australia to become Australians? (We all know the answer to that one, don't we!).
And these people call themselves adults? They believe themselves to be men of reason and sanity?
Their "reasoning" appears a bit sick, does it not?
And if you agree with me and believe their reasoning and ideology to be a bit on the sick side, you'll love the one about the West stealing Muslim oil.
More on the story here.
If these people weren't so sick and so dangerous, these clowns would be a total joke.
