Democrats Plan to Block Warrantless Wiretap Bill!
Far Left Islamo-apologist and friend of terrorists - Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI), wrote yesterday at the Huffington Post that democrats will go move forward on blocking terrorist surveillance methods:
There are a lot of bad bills that the Republicans may try to ram through, but here's the worst of the worst - a bill to legalize the President's warrantless wiretapping program. The White House is desperate to enact this bill, which allows the government to spy on American citizens, on American soil, without a warrant.Gateway Pundit sums up the insanity of the Democrats' plans, noting that so far, the Dems have announced plans to...If we want to show people that we have what it takes to govern, we need to start proving ourselves right now, from day one.
Proving ourselves means standing up for Democratic values, and stopping the worn-out Republican agenda that Americans just rejected at the polls.
After the gains we made on November 7, it would be easy to just relax and bask in the victory - but it would also be a big mistake. The lame duck is the Republicans' last chance to pass bills on the White House's wish list, and we shouldn't let them get away with it. It is the Democrats' turn to lead Congress, and we can start strong by rejecting the Republicans' last ditch efforts in the lame duck session.
* Cut and Run from Iraq (guaranteeing that the Middle East collapses into total chaos and that the Islamists are further emboldened to attack America)And as Gateway Pundit goes on to astutely remind us - all this is just in the first week after they won majorities in Congress. Good job, American voters that stayed home, and those that voted for the Democrats; you're certain to soon see the smiling faces of terrorists in your neighborhood - the fruits of your election day folly. You've managed to elect the best government for Islamafascism and terrorism to flourish all over the planet.
* Raise taxes (bringing a solid economy to a screeching halt)
* Announce numerous investigations on the Administration (virtually paralyzing government for two years)
* Complain about oil dependency while banning exploration and drilling (thereby increasing our dependency on foreign oil while increasing the leverage on us by the Islamists)
* Promote scandal plagued senator to Majority leader (increasing corruption instead of reducing it)
* Denounce passport checks at the border and securing the rights of foreign terrorist rights (making us far less secure instead of increasing our security)
