Iran In The Crosshairs

Has the U.S. and Britain awakened to Iran's nuclear threat to world peace and are they now planning to target Iran with air strikes? No doubt, doing so would be a two-fer that would go a long way toward settling down the Iran-related violence in Iraq, provided we changed the rules of engagement and destroyed al-Sadr's private army.

Meanwhile, let's not forget that Ahmadinejad said Sunday that 'a piece of paper' (referring to the UN sanctions) - could not stop Iran's atomic programs (notice that he said "atomic programs"- with no reference to nuclear program for energy) :

'They think they can stop our nuclear programme by spreading a piece of paper but, whether you like it or not, the fact is Iran has already become an atomic power,' Ahmadinejad said.

'Iran has already gained the necessary know-how to complete its own nuclear fuel cycle and there is nothing the West can do about it,' he said.

Given Ahmadinejad's position, the West is left with few options other than prepare to bring the Iranian regime and its mad president to their knees.
