Palestinian Prime Minister: Jhad Will Continue Until Jerusalem Is 'liberated'
While James Baker, Jimmy Carter, Condoleeza Rice, and other Chamberlainites call for a new round of empty agreements (and very real Israeli concessions), Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh is talking about the "right" of the "Palestinian" people to "cancel the cruel agreements" that were signed (ergo - agreed upon) in the past with the "occupation regime."
It's apparent that our well-meaning but incredibly naive diplomats either have no knowledge of or choose to disregard the Islamic concept of Dar al Hudna (Arabic: "house of calm"):
The land of non-believers currently under truce which is in respite between wars. Truce is bought by tribute by harbis. If the harbis refuse to pay tribute in exchange for the truce, hostilities are resumed. Furthermore, only treaties that conform to Islamic prescriptions are valid; if these conditions are not fulfilled the treaty is worthless. (as we see demonstrated by Haniyeh's statement)Robert Spencer nails it at Jihad Watch when he describes these Chamberlainites' (my word , not his) "willful refusal to examine what a truce is in Islamic theology, and to proceed accordingly" - as "continually astounding."
