Fight Radical Islam With - Pig Races?

Pig races.jpgWhen an Islamic group directed by a radical Islamist moved in next door to Craig Baker in Houston, they told him that the pigs on his family's 200-year-old Texas farm had to go. So he and his pigs decided to fight back:

Craig's neighbors, the Katy Islamic Association, have plans to build a mosque and community compound on the 11 acres they purchased alongside his farm.

Initially Baker and Kamel Fotouh, the president of the 500-member Islamic Association, were on good terms. But things turned sour at a town meeting, where Baker says Fotouh insulted him by asking him to move.

That was the last straw for me ... calling me a liar, especially in front of three or four hundred people at that meeting," Baker said. "Mr. Fotouh said it would be a good idea if I considered packing up my stuff and moving out further to the country."

Fotouh says his group has to construct the mosque because the others in the Houston area don't provide the kind of environment they are looking for.

"We feel that these mosques are not fulfilling the needs of the community as they should. So, our vision is to have an integrated facility," said Fotouh.

Of course the first question that comes to mind is whether or not the Katy Islamic Association is directed by an Islamist - a supporter of radical Islamic ideology; for the answer we only need to read what the man says - in writing (Ahmer Feroze, KIA's Director, co-authored "From Darkness Into Light: An Account of the Messenger's Struggle to Make Islam Dominant").

Robert Spencer has written on the growing number of mosques in America:

... organizers of this Houston-area mosque, like all others in the United States, have never even been asked any questions by any official about where their money is coming from, what they will teach in this mosque, and so on -- despite clear evidence that hatred of Jews and Christians and Islamic supremacism is being taught in all too many American mosques.

The cognitive dissonance is growing. No wonder people are holding pig races.

To which I might add that what Spencer and the article are saying is exactly what several of my Muslim friends have told me. They have also told me that CAIR (a supporter and an apologist for radical Islam, and a proponent of the Islamization of America, along with the establishment of sharia, Islamic law, in America) actually gives political speeches in their mosques during times that would normally be prayer time. They have since left their mosques because of CAIR.

The take home message here is that we need more than pig races to stop radical Islamic mosques proliferating throughout America. We need awareness and action!
