Iraqi Blogosphere Reactions to Saddam's Execution (Updated)
... can be found at IraqSlogger.
As do several of the commenters, I believe that hanging Saddam on Eid was a bad idea, and seems to indicate that a Shia-dominated Iraqi government intends to operate in the face of and counter to the interests of, the minority Sunnis.
So, is the real winner here Muqtada al-Sadr and Iran?
Update: The Big Pharaoh offers an answer to the question as to who the real winner here is - Muqtada al-Sadr (and by extrapolation, Iran):
"Muqtada, Muqtada, Muqtada," shouted the hooded executioners before the trapdoor opened sinking Saddam to the afterlife. That was the chant we all heard in the leaked cell phone video clip (edit: see here) that shed light on who Saddam's executioners turned out to be: followers of Muqtada Sadr, one of the Iraq's new strongmen who emerged after the removal of Iraq's previous strongman. As to the timing of Saddam's execution, there was outrage across the Arab Sunni world over the timing of Saddam execution. Per TBP, Logic in the Middle East simply doesn't exist.
