CAIR Wants To Con You Into Thinking They Speak For Muslim Americans (Updated)
But like a lot of things about CAIR, that's a lie!
As M. Zuhdi Jasser, M.D. says:
"We are doing our national counterterrorism efforts and Muslims a disservice if we assume that the 'lowest hanging fruit,' which comprise all currently Islamist organizations (CAIR, MPAC, or ISNA - to name a few) and their proportionally limited membership speak for all American Muslims. Their silence on the need for reformation and the need for Muslims to lead an anti-Islamist effort from within our faith community represents their own Islamist agenda of the members and donors but does not represent the general Muslim population."Now there's hard core data via the Washington Times (and the IRS) that proves what Zuhdi Jasser has been saying is the hard core fact: The Washington Times is reporting that membership in the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has declined by more that 90% since 9/11. And CAIR only has about 1,700 dues paying members.
What? CAIR lies? CAIR's all talk and no walk! Tell me you don't mean it!
In other words, CAIR has been lying to us all along (most of us knew better, anyway). And CAIR's membership (and revenue) is continuing to go down, down, down ....
