Gaza: Female TV staff get death threat - Hamas: Kill the Jews and the Americans "to the Very Last One"
Scott at Powerline points to the story by Khaled Abu Toameh in yesterday's Jerusalem Post that "provides a "good example of how Islamification works in Gaza, of all places, for those who don't understand what's in store for the West if we don't fight back.": Gaza: Female TV staff get death threat.
A radical Islamic group in the Gaza Strip issued a death threat over the weekend against women working for the official Palestinian Authority television station, accusing them of dressing immodestly and behaving in a way that violates the teachings of Islam."Threatening to "slaughter" the women for allegedly spreading corruption in Palestinian society by appearing on the screen with their faces uncovered."? Good lord, what kind of "people" are these? One can only wonder why statements like this don't cause men and women of reason and humanity to ask themselves if we are not in fact dealing with animals that need to be exterminated like diseased rats!The threat, the first of its kind against female employees of Palestine TV, was made by the Righteous Swords of Islam, a relatively new group that is believed to have links with al-Qaida.
The group has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Internet cafes and restaurants in the Gaza Strip over the past year.
Members of the group are also responsible for splashing acid in the face of a number of young women who had been accused of "immoral behavior." The Righteous Swords of Islam is one of three al-Qaida-affiliated groups that have popped up in the Gaza Strip over the past two years.
PA officials in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post that the presence of the extremist groups in the Gaza Strip would "eventually lead to the transformation of the Palestinian territories into a Taliban-style entity."
According to one official, "The day will come when we will miss Hamas. These are extremely dangerous groups that are trying to take Palestinian society back to the Dark Ages."
[...] The group warned that its members would strike with an "iron fist and swords" against the women who are refusing to cover their faces. "We will destroy their homes," it announced. "We will blow up their working places. We have a lot of information about their addresses and we are following their movements."
The leaflet concluded by threatening to "slaughter" the women for allegedly spreading corruption in Palestinian society by appearing on the screen with their faces uncovered.
As for the comment by one official that, "the day will come when we will miss Hamas and these are extremely dangerous groups that are trying to take Palestinian society back to the Dark Ages," it's hard to imagine Palestinian society going any further back into the dark ages than they already are. Take for example the words in the following video in which, back on On April 13, Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council Sheik Ahmad Bahr from Hamas declared that every Jew and American must be murdered. Interestingly, it's people like these that Islamist-qppeasing apologists such as the Democratic leadership and a hand full of RINOs want us to "reason" with. So, watch the video and then tell me how successful you think such an approach will be.

Let's recall that the party of Islamic Appeasers (Democrats) want to talk and deal with Islamic fascists, thinking maybe they can find common ground. As the world knows, Syria sponsors Islamic Fascism, harbors Islamic Fascists, and groups such as Hamas have their headquarters in Damascus. Pelosi and her Democrat friends believe you can talk and make peace with Islamic fascists, but judging by this video, and what the Hamas Representative says, the Party of Islamic Appeasers (PIA) is either brain dead or anti-American - perhaps a little of both (Hat tip - Undeniable Politics)
