God bless my Marine Corps, God bless all of our troops, and God bless our country, America.
First of all - A Tribute to our Brave Troops: Toby Keith's father, an army Veteran who had lost his eye, died 6 months before the attacks on September 11. Toby wrote this song just after the attacks for his father. He wasn't going to record the song - but after visiting the troops in Iraq and playing for them - they urged him to record it. Despite all the controversy from the Left, the song has now become an anthem for the American Soldier. (Lyrics in extended post)
