Economic Freedom and Democracy cannot go separated
Singapore is one of the countries where citizens enjoy economic freedom;Who among us knew that they are denied democratic rights? I always affirm that democracy should come before economic freedom.Or, better, the two things cannot go separated.
Nobody talks about the human rights violations in Singapore. Maybe that might not include torture, but the country is an autocracy that denies the citizens the right to choose freely their rulers.
