Ohio Car Dealership Capitulates To Dhimmitude !!! (Breaking Update)
Update:At this point, from an anonymous source within the dealership - the REAL REASON for canceling the advertising campaign was DEATH THREATS from MUSLIMS. At the time of this writing, the dealership has received 10,000 emails, 98 percent have been supportive and encouraged the dealership for it's expression of free speech. The dealership has already had to turn down interviews with numerous news groups - including just now - Hannity and Comles, because of these death threats.
It is seriously time for us to ask ourselves is this still America or is this an Islamic state. Why is a "Piss Christ" okay, but not a "Piss Muhammed"???
Update 2: We have learned, again from anonymous sources, that Muslims have systematically contacted department after apartment in the dealership, and numerous employees, and issued death threats to them. Isn't it time for serious outrage from Americans in support of this dealership's right of free speech? The altternative is to bow down to sharia law. Where does this end?
On September 24, we told you here at Hyscience, that as posted by Baron Bodissey in "Gates of Vienna," a car dealership in Ohio was preparing to launch a humorous radio advertising campaign which mocked the Islamist terrorists Jihadists. Bodissey commented on the post that, quote: "We've often said in this space that in ridicule is the most powerful weapon in the arsenal of the Counter-Jihad; it's one that our enemies have no defense against."
"Dennis Mitsubishi" of Columbus, Ohio, was planning on launching the humorous radio advertising blitz, which the General manager of the dealership called "tongue-in-cheek", on Friday, even though some politically correct radio stations had rejected the Ad as being "insensitive" for invoking Islamic references.
The advertisement in question was going to feature "A Jihad on high prices" with, quote: "Our prices are lower than the evildoers' every day. Just ask the Pope!" with "sales people dressed in Burqas" selling trucks "that could sit up to 12 Jihadists" and "Fatwa Fridays with free rubber swords for the kiddies."
Aaaron Masterson, the General Manager of Dennis Auto Point which produced the Ad called the commercial "aggressive," and added: "This is one where we feel we're taking a bull's-eye on terrorists. After all the nonsense that the terrorists put the public through, they're fair game."
As was to be expected, the Council on American-Islamic Relations vehemently objected to the airing of the Ad. Asma Mobin-Uddin, president of the Columbus chapter of C.A.I.R., said she was concerned the ad's tone and imagery are "mocking and disrespectful to many different areas. One is Islamic faith and Islamic culture." She added "I don't think it's appropriate when it causes real pain. It exploits or promotes misunderstanding in terms already misunderstood or misused."
Many saw in the Ad, a courageous coming to terms in America with the intertwining realities of Islam and Islamofacist radicalism and Jihad, which unfortunately until now, have been much glossed over by our multiculturalist politically correct societal mindset! As Baron Bodissey pointed out:
"After all these years of being mau-maued by CAIR, after all the treacly propaganda ladled onto their viewers and readers by the MSM, after all the diversity training and multicultural outreach forced onto the public by the politically correct power structure -- despite all this, ordinary people are getting the message" [...] "Despite the efforts of their betters, they understand the Islamic world all too well."
In spite of Miss Mobin-Uddin's and C.A.I.R.'s objections, and the politically correct "Dhimmitude" of several stations in the area, the Ad was nevertheless slated to be aired.
So, what was my chagrin but to see earlier this morning on "American Morning" on CNN (the harbinger of all bad news and ill tidings), a sarcastic Miles O'Brien reporting on how "Dennis Mitsubishi," the car dealership in question, had succumbed to pressure from C.A.I.R., Muslims, and other PC advocates, and had decided not to run the Ad, bowing its head in shameful "Dhimmitude"!!!
Mr. O'Brien began the reportage gloatingly, saying: "An Ohio car dealer thought it was being funny with talk of Jihad and Burqas and plastic swords, but, well, its humor, it just fell flat."
O'Brien went on to show a clip of Keith Dennis, General Manager of the dealership, apologizing to Muslims sheepishly, only as Dhimmis do, followed by one of a triumphant Asma Mobin-Uddin, president of the Columbus chapter of C.A.I.R., denouncing the Ads as offensive to Muslims, saying, quote: "they had gone too far."
Cynically, one has to ask oneself, if the same people who so vehemently worked to have the Ad pulled, would not have been the first to be arguing about "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom of Artistic Creativity" had it mocked or ridiculed Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion than Islam, as so often has happened in the past?!?!
Had the Ad featured a crucified clown (like Madonna), or had been an advertisement for an exhibition of an Artist's work involving a "Crucified Jesus in Urine" or a depiction of the "Virgin Mary Made in Dung" at a local art gallery, no doubt the Ads would have been aired without the slightest hitch, and the hell with Christian "sensibilities"! But God forbid you should "ruffle" a touchy Muslim's feathers - after all, he or she may well come over and blow you up without giving it too much thought!!!
So here we have it! Another infamous victory for the intolerance of Muslims and Islam, another American defeat into "Dhimmitude"!!!
And you know what?!?! Many of us are just getting fed up with it! Not even an innocuous joke, as the Danish cartoons, can be made of anything "Islamic" without it eliciting the most rabid, violent, and deadly repercussion from Muslims! It seems that to them virtually everything is an "affront" to their accursed barbaric culture and religion of violence, repression, and intolerance!!!
If someone has the right to depict Jesus crucified in urine, and not be condemned, ostracized, censored, and threatened to be killed for doing so in our society, then anyone should be equally able to say "Piss on Mohammed" without fearing for his life, and being subjected to forcibly bow down to Dhimmitude by that very same "politically correct" society!!! We are just sick of it!
If Muslims want to live in a country ruled by fear, repression, and Sharia, let them go back to wherever the hell they came from, and not come here to impose their intolerance on us! We have just had enough of it!!!
We can only hope that there are enough Americans out there opening up their eyes to the implications of this bleak reality encroaching upon our freedoms!!!
If only the Dealership in Ohio would have had the courage to stand its ground!!!
But concerned Americans in Columbus, should get the message across, and protest where it hurts the "Dhimmi" the most: their pocket books, and boycott "Dennis Mitsubishi"! In their capitulation to Dhimmitude, let them sell in sooth only to the Jihadists, the Muslims, and the Dhimmis, and see how well they will fare!!!
