Saudis Jail Christian for Entering Mecca
Saudi officials have once demonstrated the Wahabbist influence in Islam's definition of tolerance in their country, this time by arresting a man in Mecca for being a Christian - saying that the city, which Muslims consider to be holy, is off-limits to non-Muslims.
Religious Tolerance? Peace? Not in Saudi Arabia, and not in most mosques in the world. I'd be interested in hearing from some of our practicing Muslim friends on this and the reasoning behind it.
