To Know The Terrorist Mind, Just Check Out Our Own Headlines
Mike Baker, who served for more than 15 years as a covert field operations officer for the Central Intelligence Agency, specializing in counterterrorism, counternarcotics and counterinsurgency operations around the globe, has a fantastic, must-read piece on what I'd describe as the top reasons why we are losing and will lose the war against Muslim extremism. In other words, the radical Muslim extremists are winning, and the reason is us .... And I whole-heartedly agree with him. We do, in fact, have the most transparent intelligence service on the planet. Clearly, except to the clueless, looney, Left - our transparency, along... ... morePosted at 11:17 AM

NYC's Khalil Gibran International Academy: An Incubator for Islamist Radicalization?
The imminent opening of a publicly funded Muslim academy in New York City (described by the Thomas More Law Center as nothing more than a thinly disguised incubator for Islamist radicalization that will immerse its students in Islamic culture, with three fundamentalist Islamist imams on its Board of Advisors, as well as other promoters with connections to militant Islamic organizations) has raised questions about the double standard that exists when it comes to religion in our schools. ... an executive summary of the KGIA proposal, point to the school as an anti-American, anti-Christian, and anti-Jewish propaganda center paid for by... ... morePosted at 7:52 AM

"Aznar for International Criminal Court"
I wrote some months ago about a platform whose objective is to send Aznar to the International Criminal Court because of "his support to the illegal Iraqi war". Another platform, called "Aznar for ICC" is preparing a "hot autumn", as United Left's MP from Andalucia's Autonomous Community Antonio Romero has said. He added: Neither Aznar, nor Bush nor Tony Blair can go away without punishment after causing an illegal and immoral war, which has produced the death to 700.000 Iraqis, the majority of which were civil, more than 2 million of people in exile, the complete destruction of the country's infraestructures, of its... ... morePosted at 1:26 PM
US - Led Forces Strike Taliban Inside Pakistan. So Why Not Eliminate Safe Harbors For Our Enemy?
Finally, the U.S. takes the action it should have taken long ago, striking the Taliban inside Pakistan: Now, however, the U.S. is claiming the cross border attack was a mistake. But was it? My guess is that the U.S. admission of an error is nothing more than cover for Musharraf. As for the attack into the tribal area of Pakistan, we should have done so long ago, and if Musharraf doesn't eliminate the safe harbor for the Taliban, we should. Giving the Taliban a safe free zone and training area in Pakistan is as ridiculous as giving Iraqi Shi'ite terrorists... ... morePosted at 11:56 AM

Surge Working, Dems Move Goalposts
Surely to no one's surprise, when two analysts from the liberal Brookings Institute suggest that military progress is being made in Iraq, Democrats recently visiting Iraq, such as Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, and Washington Rep. Brian Baird indicate that the Surge is working, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) says an upbeat assessment on the war from Gen. Petraeus in September "would be a problem for us," the Defeaticrats have decided to move the goalposts. Based upon the Dems desire for America to lose in Iraq, and seemingly on the War on Terror, as well, one could... ... morePosted at 7:55 AM

Your Mission On This Earth (as a Muslim) Is To Fight For Islam And To Kill Or Be Killed
The title comes from the words of Wafa Sultan, and refers to Qur'an 9:111 which promises Paradise to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah: On a two-week "under the radar" visit to Australia, Syrian-born Wafa Sultan secretly met both sides of federal politics and Jewish community leaders, warning them that all Muslims needed to be closely monitored in the West. In an interview with The Australian, Dr Sultan -- who shot to recognition last year following an interview on al-Jazeera television in which she attacked Islam and the prophet Mohammed -- said Muslims were "brainwashed" from an early... ... morePosted at 3:43 PM

Another Day, Another Hillary Position
As I posted at Hyscience, with Hillary as comes another day, also comes another position. And as Stanford Matthews points out at Faultline USA, try as she will, Hillary Rodham Clinton is not now and never will be Presidential. About Those U of M Footbaths
I would hope that the "Muslim" footbaths paid for by the university are not just for Muslims, and that Jews and Christians, and anyone else of any other creed, race, or color - may also stop by and wash their feet if they are so inclined. After all, surely the U of M doesn't want to discriminate against Jews, Christians, atheists, etc..... And, as you might so reasonably inquire, just where is the ACLU on this one. The answer, of course, is quite noticeably silent, as is so aptly pointed out in Sundays' Opinion Journal:The latest battle of religion in... ... morePosted at 10:33 AM
More about the Indonesian summit by HuT
Richard posted about it here some days ago.I have written a long post about the Indonesian summit, held by 100.000 Hibz ut-Tahrir supporters asking for the Caliphate and supporting the introduction of Sharia Law in Indonesia -with Turkey, one of the few stable democracies in the Muslim world-. There are several things that worry me really: the secret recruitment, the selection of the recruits between educated middle-class and their support of terrorism. Yes, I know that they say they are not violent, but they support terrorism both in Palestine and in Iraq, saying it's the Jihad. Of course, they reject... ... morePosted at 5:52 AM

CAIR 'Displeased' Over Counterterrorism Blog's Postings - Cites In Amicus Curiae Brief In HLF Case
Jeffrey Imm reports at The Counterterrorism Blog that in an Amicus Curiae brief by CAIR to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division, CAIR complains about the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) postings on the Counterterrorism Blog with news in regards to the HLF case and CAIR. The Islamists' Agenda Exposed By Reformer Supports What We Are Seeing Today In CAIR's Support Of Terrorist Groups And The Saudi Wahabbists' Plan For America
Thanks to Kemal for sending us this video (below) of Tashbih Sayyed exposing Islamist-supremacists (CAIR and MPAC) hidden agenda: to intimidate us into submission to Islamist domination. Although almost a year old, showing it now fits in with today's story in the NYT reporting that CAIR and The National Association of Muslim Lawyers took steps yesterday to reverse what they called a Justice Department effort to smear the entire Muslim community by naming some of its largest organizations as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial in Texas. The Strategic Importance Of President Bush's Action To Designate Al Quds Of The Iranian Revolutionary Guard A Terrorist Organization
As Douglas Farah notes today at FSM, yesterday's Washington Post brought the welcome news that the Bush administration is about to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist entity. As Farah points out in his piece, the al Quds Force doesn't always operate with the full knowledge and consent of the central government, nor do its leaders appear to be accountable to either the central command of the Revolutionary Guard or the civilian government. The Force seems to be the interlocutor between the Iranian military apparatus and al Qaeda, a relationship that has waxed and waned over time, and despite... ... morePosted at 12:34 AM

Two Things To Know Before Your City is Nuked By Terrorists
Douglas MacKinnon tells us at Townhall today that according to a high level intelligence operative of our government, "tragically, horrifyingly, but quite predictably," terrorists are going to successfully detonate a nuclear weapon within the United States, and the only question is which American city or cities. And that same intelligence operative says the finger of blame rests squarely at our politicians and our politically correct, left-leaning media, who, have "sealed our fate." AFP and Yahoo News Win 'All Time' Dumbest Caption And Image Contest
Most bloggers have by now grown accustomed to blooper images and downright fabrications from the mainstream media. But AFP and Yahoo News have now taken this phenomenon to a whole new level. In case you're having trouble reading it, the caption reads: "An elderly Iraqi woman shows two bullets which she says hit her house following an early coalition forces raid in the predominantly Shiite Baghdad suburb of Sadr City. Hitchens On 'Foolish Myths' About al-Qaeda
After throwing out a few qualifiers to call attention to his recent rants against religion (all of them) in his piece at Slate today, Christopher Hitchens gets right down to the business of rebutting a few "foolish myths" about al-Qaeda that many of our friends on the Left and more than a few misinformed Republicans would do well to distance themselves from if they value reality. According to a new report, following several years of double digit growth, only about half the almost 2 million Mexicans in so-called "new" migration states such as Louisiana, North Carolina and Georgia are sending back remittances, compared with four-fifths a year ago. And the reason has to do with legal restrictions targeting illegal immigrants. Well, it's about time, I say.
