Don't miss this brilliant parody on the news story quoting Hezbollah party official Mahmoud Komati as saying that Israel's military operation has taken them by "surprise."
Related - Desperately waiting for Nabih Berri: "Komati's admission was troubling for four reasons. It was probably untrue, since Hizbullah almost certainly factored in what the Israelis might do when it planned the soldiers' abduction; the admission was designed to shift blame away from Hizbullah, since if it had known about the Israeli response, hundreds of thousands of displaced Lebanese would hold the party accountable for their fate; and if Komati was telling the truth and Hizbullah did not know, then the party is guilty of having provoked a national catastrophe based on deficient planning."
