Ijaz's Remarks On Romney's 'Muslim' Comment Invites Questions For Ijaz

Islamists, which constitute a large and growing number of Muslims (in America), have loyalty to the ummah first, nationhood (America) last (if at all). This makes the idea of Islamists (a large and growing percentage of American Muslims) living in and accepting a Democracy, an exercise in futility. - HyscienceWhen Mansoor Ijaz, a New York financier and commentator of Pakistani ancestry, asked former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney about putting a Muslim in his presidential Cabinet, Romney responded by saying he "cannot see that a Cabinet position would be justified" based on the percentage of Muslims in the U.S. Ijaz apparently... ... more

Annapolis: An Exercise In Futility?

While I see Annapolis as "a colossal waste of time," except for the fact that it pisses off Iran and Hamas, Jules Crittenden sees it as "a meaningful step toward peace in someone else's time" and believes that it might amount to something. I hope Jules is right and I'm wrong. My problem with Annapolis is that it can be successful only if the Palestinians, Syrians, Iranians, Hamas, and Hezbollah can ever get passed hating the "evil Jooozzz," and being committed to the destruction of Israel - and that will never happen. Or could it. There have been voices of... ... more

Angry 'Youths' Riot In Paris Over Fatal Moped Accident

Those "Angry Youths" are rioting 'again' in Paris. If you think you've heard this before, you have. And I'm willing to bet that you're not fooled by the media's refusal to use the M-word, and you already know the ideology of the "Angry Youths."Two teenage "Youths" are killed in a crash involving their cross-country motorbike and a police car in a north Paris suburb, and all hell breaks loose. Gangs torch cars and loot shops and buildings in the north Paris suburb of Villiers-le-Bel - injuring 25 police officers, and torch two garages, a petrol pump, two shops, set fire... ... more

While You Were Sleeping Back In May - Islamic Jihadists And Mexican Drug Cartels Were Planning An Attack On America's Largest Inteligence Training Center (Updated)

"America's enemies have chosen Latin America as a preferred target to undermine security in the Americas and weaken America politically and strategically. More to the point, America's various adversaries have chosen Mexico as their infiltration route. And American politicians are opening the doors wide to our enemies with NAFTA and The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP)." - The Mexican Threat To America (Terrorists, Drug Cartels, Russia, Cuba, And Red Dawn)If the above quote seems to you a bit far fetched, think again. Via Robert Spencer, who frames it as "Harmonic convergence," comes an update on this story:... ... more

Iran TV Editorial on Jerusalem Road Division Project

Broadcast 23 November on Iranian state satellite TV (IRINN) [on-screen announcer] In a racist measure, the Zionist regime has implemented the first phase of the project to divide the streets of Jerusalem between Israelis and Palestinians. This measure has cut geographical connections between the north and south of the Gaza Strip and facilitates the Israeli plan to build settlements. [off-screen announcer] Based on this racist project, the streets of Jerusalem have been divided between the Israelis and the Palestinians and two separate roads are to be allocated, one for the Israelis and one for the Palestinians. Israel 'last, best chance for the Islamic world to come to terms with the modern world'

B. Spengler's highly informative November 20 piece in Asia Times offers the compelling suggestion that despite what received wisdom in the foreign ministries of the West holds (and what the Muslim world would have us believe) - that relations with Muslims would be ever so much easier without the annoying presence of the Jewish state, which humiliates the Muslim world - the exact opposite is true. According to Spengler: "The state of Israel embodies the last, best chance for the Islamic world to come to terms with the modern world because it constitutes a humiliation": The premise of Western policy... ... more

Thanksgiving Is A Time Of Giving Thanks For What We Have Today

Thanksgiving Day in America is a time that we offer thanks for what we have; its a time of family gatherings, holiday meals, airport delays, .... and watching football games (for those new to America - no, the Pilgrims didn't actually play football after they ate their Thanksgiving dinner). And despite what certain modern day, "victimhood"-loving, moonbat indian activists would like us to believe, Thanksgiving is about giving thanks for what we have - not what we don't have, and givng thanks for where we are today - not where our great, great, great, grandparents' cousins were or did umpteen... ... more

Were Saddam's 'Missing' WMD's Targeted In The Israeli Strike In Syria ?

Was this a combination factory/WMD dump site where the Syrians were mixing imported North Korean plutonium with Saddam's enriched uranium? Could it be that the "somewhat reliable" Debkafile was accurate when they reported that the Syrians were importing North Korean plutonium to be mixed with Saddam's enriched uranium and that the Syrians were close to completing a warhead factory next to Saddam's WMD dump in Deir al Zour, Syria to produce hundreds, if not thousands, of super toxic "dirty bombs" that would pollute wherever they landed in Israel for the next several thousands of years ? Were the recent New... ... more

Media Goes So Far As To Color Terrorists As 'Concerned Citizens' And Propagating Terrorist's Propaganda

We have all by now become well accustomed to the news media's publishing propaganda as 'news' and "twisting" the story of success in Iraq into, what AJ Strata describes today as being "under the keyboard of a single media ideologue." It has become clear that the media is willing to not only color the affiliations and descriptions of the players to fit the media's anti-American, pro anti-war agenda (you gotta give them credit for their imagination - such as when they refer to sunni insurgent terrorists as "concerned citizens"), but also completely misrepresent situations and events. This was the case... ... more

Proclaiming Defeat And Torn Alliances When Neither Exists Doesn't Deter Democrats From Living In State Of Denial

As Charles Krauthammer notes today at IBD, when Democratic presidential candidates aren't busy beating up on Hillaryk, they're busy pronouncing the Democratic pieties, their favorite of which is that George Bush has left our alliances in ruins. Hillary says we've "alienated our friends," that we must "rebuild our alliances" and "restore our standing in the world." Others describe Bush as having a scorched-earth foreign policy that has left us reviled and isolated in the world. And then there's Rep. Nancy Pelosi (who went to Syria to cavort with terrorists) and Sen. Harry Reid (who's stuck on stupidly announcing that we've... ... more

Hamas Loves Hillary

Hamas, responsible for scores of suicide bombings, shootings and rocket attacks, and classified by the State Department as a terrorist organization, says Hillary is the ticket to a Palestinian victory. Hamas is the latest in a what has been nothing less than a chorus of leading members of Mideast terror groups to express support for a Clinton presidency and the Democratic party. Who can forget how, back in April of this year, terror groups throughout the world were doing back flips of joy to hear the "agenda of surrender" from democratic presidential candidates in their debate. Terrorists labeled the debate... ... more

Dems Continue To Open Mouths, Insert Feet On Iraq, And Seek A Defeated America

In his piece a couple days ago at The Weekly Standard titled, The Democrat's Surge Problem, Bill Kristol wrote of the Dems being in the ridiculous position of being more anti-war now that we're winning than they were when we were losing: IT WAS A REASONABLE position (though a mistaken one) to oppose the war in Iraq. It was a reasonable position (though a mistaken one) to oppose the surge of troops at the beginning of 2007, on the grounds that it seemed unlikely the surge could succeed, and that some kind of not-too-damaging-withdrawal was the only option. But now... ... more

Islamofascism is to Islam what the Christian Identity Movement is to Christianity (Updated)

Hopefully, a definition of Islamofascism that even the moonbats of the Left can understand: As stated by Muslims Against Sharia, Islam, in its present form, is not compatible with principles of freedom and democracy. Twenty-first century Muslims have two options: we can continue the barbaric policies of the seventh century perpetuated by Hassan al-Banna, Abdullah Azzam, Yassir Arafat, Ruhollah Khomeini, Osama bin Laden, Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, Hizballah, Hamas, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, etc., leading to a global war between Dar al-Islam (Islamic World) and Dar al-Harb (non-Islamic World), or we can reform Islam to keep our rich cultural heritage and to cleanse our... ... more

Opinion: 'It's Radical Islam, Stupid' (Updated)

As The Stiletto says at Blogger News Network, "Abortion, gun control and gay marriage may be the three most reliable issues that get conservative and religious "values voters" to turn out in the primaries, but this election cycle, there's another issue that trumps this unholy trinity: the global spread of Islamic fundamentalism (or Islamofascism, as some prefer)." And as Vision America president Rick Scarborough puts it: "It's the ultimate life issue. If radical Islam succeeds in its ultimate goals, Christianity ceases to exist." Stiletto and Scarborough are on target in believing that the overriding issue for conservatives in 08 is... ... more

Words I Thought We'd Never Here From Muslims And Christians In Baghdad: 'All the people, all the people in Iraq, Muslim and Christian, is brother.'

It's about time! The Church of St. John in Baghdad has been reopened and the cross on its dome has been replaced. Yes, faith in the end of violence is now alive in battle-scarred Baghdad, as Iraqi Muslims and Christians proclaim, "All the people, all the people in Iraq, Muslim and Christian, is brother." As Jules Crittenden says, "Faith and hope, brought to you by American fighting men and women." However, let's not be deluded into forgetting that hurdles remain, particularly with Iran working just as hard to create havoc in Iraq as America and most Iraqis are working to... ... more

Will Ahmadinejad's Claim Of 3,000 Centrifuges Trigger Israeli Strike ? (Updated)

Iran's announcement that it now has 3,000 centrifuges signals an ability to produce the nuclear material needed for a warhead. With Israel having destroyed Saddam Hussein's Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981, and having recently struck a suspected nuclear plant in Syria, there should be little doubt that "as the sole -- if undeclared -- nuclear power in the region," it will not tolerate a nuclear Iran that has said Israel should be "wiped off the map." So no wonder Washington is concerned about a possible (if not likely) strike on Iran by Israel: A claim by President Ahmadinejad that Iran... ... more

Hililary's Connection To Islam (Alternative title: Who Is Huma Abedin And Who Is Funding Her Lifestyle?) 'Updated'

I'm not sure what to make of this story and actually stumbled upon the post on it by happenstance. But Senator Clinton's closest aide, Huma Abedin (the daughter of an Islamic scholar that was raised in Saudi Arabia), does indeed appear to be leading an elaborate lifestyle and no one seems to be able to explain where Ms. Abedin gets the money to own a $649,000 apartment (check out her Privately Financed Travel). Ms. Abedin's presidential campaign title is "traveling chief of staff"... Then there's this from the BHDC "Huma Abedin File": When one takes into account Ms. Abedin's... ... more

Why Do We Allow The Saudis To Build Mosques In America When No Churches Are Allowed In Saudi Arabia?

As you might recall, Saudi Arabia, home of Wahhabism - a fiercely fundamentalist form of orthodox Sunni Islam, was home to 15 of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers, as well as their leader, Osama bin Laden. You should also recall that one of the key findings of the 9/11 Commission Report was that "Education that teaches tolerance, the dignity and value of each individual, and respect for different beliefs is a key element in any global strategy to eliminate Islamist terrorism." Yet of the more than 1,200 mosques in America, more than 80 percent have been built within the last... ... more

Obama 'Naively' Plans For Kumbaya With Iran

As we noted almost a year ago in our post titled Said The Spyder To The Fly, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad brings new meaning to the Shi'ite concept of al-taqiyya: Lie, cheat, and deceive to gain advantage over one's enemies to further Allah's cause and the rule of the world by Islam, and lure the American public into a nuclear trap, like a radioactive spider to a fly. As Jules Crittenden noted at the time, Ahmadinejad, a despotic liar, is no fool. He knows his audience. He knows what to say and when to say it. He smells blood in the water... ... more
