California chapter of Hamas-linked CAIR to take down image of poster urging American Muslims to "Build a wall of resistance," and "Don't talk to the FBI"
We can now once and for all put to rest any question about the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations' (CAIR) attitude toward law enforcement in terrorism investigations, thanks to the Muslim group's San Francisco chapter. A poster captioned "Build a Wall of Resistance" announcing a Feb. 9 event published on the group's website says, "Don't Talk to the FBI." A dark, sinister FBI agent is shown lurking in front of people's homes as doors slam shut: From Fox News: The Council on American Islamic Relations said they will remove a poster from their website promoting an upcoming conference that encourages... ... morePosted at 11:03 AM | Comments (0)

Video Profile Of A Madman -- Jared Loughner Is No Tea Partier And No Conservative
An on-line video journalist explores the writings of Jared Loughner and what they may reveal about his motivations; and the posts indicate that he is neither a Tea Partier nor a conservative. In fact, his posts appear to reveal a bent toward atheist nihilism ... via Breitbart TV (hat tip - Nice Deb): Related: The Christian Science Monitor -Nihilism or Sarah Palin: What motivated Arizona shooting suspect? 'No doubt acts of intolerance against Muslims can be found, and they should be condemned .. but note that Muslims aren't fleeing America in fear of their lives like Christians are having to do in Islamic nations'
A common sense perspective on the nonsense of "Islamophobia" propaganda from Muslims and their complicit apologists of the Left, by Steve Huntley in the Chicago Sun-Times, via Robert Spencer: "Anti-Christian crimes downplayed": We've heard outlandish allegations of Islamophobia sweeping America. Not getting nearly as much attention is the bloody persecution of Christians in parts of the Muslim world. Every report of an Islamist terrorist plot is accompanied by a chorus of warnings against Americans hating or attacking Muslim Americans. Yet, that much-ballyhooed bigotry almost never seems to arise. The latest FBI hate crime statistics, for 2009, found that 8.4 percent... ... morePosted at 10:31 AM | Comments (0)

(Videos) The World We Now Find Ourselves In Thanks To Islamism
Sent to me in an email; if nothing else these Evan Mark videos offer a flash perspective of the world we now find ourselves in and what we are in the process of having to defend against ... all because of the socio-political ideology of Islamism: Meanwhile, Barack Obama's Counterterror Adviser defends Jihad as 'Legitimate Tenet of Islam' ... says "Jihad is a holy struggle." - and that Islam is "part of America." And Barack Obama's Attorney General can't even utter the words "radical Islam." Cross posted from Hyscience... ... morePosted at 12:55 PM | Comments (0)

Re: Boehner's 'Sackcloth and Ashes Speech' (Updated)
Rich Lowry on House Speaker John Boehner's "sackcloth and ashes" inaugural speech: The most powerful metaphor in Boehner's speech just now was the reference to Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. "The ashes remind us that life in all its forms is fragile -- our time on this Earth, fleeting. As the ashes are delivered, we hear those humbling words: 'Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return.'" This in a speech putting a punctuation mark on a historic Republican sweep! The new Republican majority, or at least that portion of it that has been around for... ... morePosted at 6:16 PM | Comments (0)
Pakistani governor murdered for opposing blasphemy law was killed by member of 'moderate' Muslim group
Interesting, but surely no surprise ... turns out that the bodyguard that murdered the Punjab Governor is Mumtaz Qadri, who "was associated with the (so-called) moderate Barelvi sect" and "is said to be associated with 'Dawat-i-Islami', a non-political and non-violent religious group close to a moderate Sunni Muslim sect." (AKI/DAWN) "Pakistan: Punjab governor's assassin 'linked to Islamic group":The Pakistani Elite Force guard who on Tuesday shot dead Punjab governor Salman Taseer is said to be associated with 'Dawat-i-Islami', a non-political and non-violent religious group close to a moderate Sunni Muslim sect. Hani Shurallah: I Accuse
What follows is written by Hani Shukrallah, an Egyptian journalist and presumably a Muslim. and whose Facebook page shows he's a fan of Barack Obama (Shukrallah's a leftist, so no surprise). As Rick, over at Wizbang, aptly writes ... May there be more who think like this amongst Islam. And as James Lewis writes at American Thinker, this is an extremely important development. It is the enlightened half of Egyptian society finally speaking out loud against Islamic reactionary violence. J'accuse By Hani Shukrallah , Saturday 1 Jan 2011 We are to join in a chorus of condemnation. Jointly, Muslims and... ... morePosted at 7:46 AM | Comments (0)

Report: Austin Goolsbee's debt limit comments conflict with Obama's 2006 vote
Hypocrisy and contradictions aren't anything new In the Obama administration, but now we can add a new example to the ever-growing list. The Washington Examiner reports that when White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee said Sunday that failing to raise the nation's debt limit would be "catastrophic" ... his comments directly conflict with the fact that his boss, then-Sen. Barack Obama, opposed a debt limit increase in 2006 - and didn't even show up to vote on it in 2007 and 2008. Goolsbee's comments were viewed as an opening salvo for the White House as it pushes back against conservative... ... morePosted at 10:26 AM | Comments (0)
Video Of Apparent NYC Blizzard Clean-Up, Slow-Down Surfaces
Disgusting, likely criminal, behavior from union bosses that George Soros' far-left Media Matters defend - blaming "Right Wing Media" instead (video below loads slowly). NEW YORK (CBS 2/WCBS 880) -- Call it the "blizzard backlash." Criminal investigations are under way to find out why it took so long to dig out from last week's massive snow storm. Videos released exclusively to CBS 2's Marcia Kramer suggest that the clean-up job may have been dirtier than once thought. One video is now in the hands of prosecutors. It shows two sanitation trucks driving down 155th Street in the Whitestone section of... ... morePosted at 8:47 AM | Comments (0)

Brown University Students Launch Public Relations Campaign for North Korea
Aana Goodman aptly sums up this incredibly naive, liberal-progressive, jaw-dropping loonyness by saying that the naivety of these students -- enrolled at one of the top American universities -- is simply astounding:"... I suppose we can at least we can be thankful that the unpleasant sight of emaciated North Koreans didn't get in the way of their thrilling vacation."What is it about liberal-progressive education that so distorts reality that it causes them to find the government of a ruthless communist dictator to be "getting a bad rap" (ignoring the fact that it's well deserved) worthy of a public relations campaign?... ... morePosted at 5:35 PM | Comments (0)

"Ultimate death stare": New RAF helmet allows pilots to shoot down enemy jets by looking at them
In what amounts to the ultimate death stare, a new helmet allows the Pilot to glance at an aircraft he wants to fire a missile at then steer the missile with his, or her, mind. As long as the enemy's aircraft is in sight, a missile can be directed towards it. From the Daily Mail: It looks no more high-tech than any other fighter pilot helmet. But this 250,000 (British pounds) headset allows RAF pilots to shoot down planes simply by looking at them. The 'Striker' Integrated Display Helmet marks one of the biggest leaps forward in attack capabilities in... ... morePosted at 2:37 PM | Comments (0)

Is Obama "mourning" the deaths of Islamic terrorists who murder Christians?
Responding to Islamic attacks against Christians on Christmas and New Year's in Egypt and Nigeria, President Obama's statement of condemnation in which he essentially invented "dozens" of Muslim victims is both misleading and deceptive, and perhaps telling of a leader's determination to ignore the relationship between Islamic jihad, terrorism, and violence against non-Muslims ... especially Christian. Statement by the President on the terrorist attacks in Egypt and Nigeria (Hat tip - Pamela Geller): I strongly condemn the separate and outrageous terrorist bombing attacks in Egypt and Nigeria. The attack on a church in Alexandria, Egypt caused 21 reported deaths and... ... morePosted at 9:30 AM | Comments (0)
Quotation for the New Year
Now that we've rung in a new year, no better way to start it off than to remember this Message from John Adams to the Officers of the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Militia of Massachusetts. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." - John AdamsSomehow or another our country seems to have gotten away from both requirements to make our constitution work for us. What is needed is for our people and our representatives in Washington to get back to our Judeo-Christian... ... morePosted at 8:20 AM | Comments (0)
